Uporaba: Dodaja se lahko v suhem stanju ali pa v vodni raztopini(15g GY2 se doda v 200 ml hladne vode in se rehidrira 30min. Predno se raztopina doda v mesno maso se še enkrat dobro premeša.). GY2 se uporablja z 3g glukoze(dekstroze) in 2g saharoze.
